Since 1956, the MCVRS has had the privilege of providing life-saving emergency medical care to our community and surrounding counties. Not only are we one of oldest volunteer Rescue Squads on the Middle Peninsula--we are an anchor tenant.
We open our doors of the Deltaville station house for civic purposes, we perform regular community outreach, we offer training and more.
While it may appear to some that we‘ve always been here, the MCVRS heartbeat is not a given, prompting our search for new fund-raising avenues. In Spring of 2023, Fishing Bay Yacht Club, Safe Harbor Stingray Point and Stingray Harbour Yacht Club joined with the MCVRS to host the 1st Annual Rescue Regatta.
Now, as we embark on the 2nd Annual Rescue Regatta we hope to become a welcome recurring event to raise funds for the Rescue Squad as well as create a wonderful family-friendly, sailing oriented, festivities for the region.
The proceeds from this year’s Regatta will be used to offset the purchase of a new ambulance for MCVRS, which without equipment costs over $365,000.
Thanks to you, our sponsors, racers, donors and volunteers, in 2023, over $22,000 was raised for the MCVRS. Now in, 2024 we’ll look to you again, to sponsor, donate, volunteer, and certainly race! Visit for the myriad ways you can help us help.
