For a small club, RRYC has a big footprint on the cruising and racing scene.  RRYC is home to one of the largest Cape Dory Typhoon fleets and hosts the biennial Typhoon National Championship Regatta.  RRYC is the host club for the Hospice Turkey Shoot Regatta, one of the largest PHRF regattas on the mid-Chesapeake Bay.  Our cruising fleet typically logs over 1,000 nm annually.  Although we are primarily a sailing club, we welcome all who love boats of any kind and love being on the water.



Our Club offers the following benefits:

Active Cruising and Racing Program
  Typhoon Fleet:  Weekly Wednesday night racing, monthly Saturday racing and Women's racing series
PHRF:  PHRF races held throughout the Spring and Fall series
Cruising:  Typically over 8 cruises per year logging over 1,000 nm
Junior Sailing Program:     
Kayak Fleet: Exploring the Chesapeake Bay water shed

Active Social Programs
Monthly Dinner (3rd Saturday of most months)
