This year's Women's Sailing program is being offered jointly with Premier Sailing who is celebrating their 20th anniversary here on Carter's Creek. The event will be a two day program with Day 1 (Sunday May 6) being an afternoon of chalk talks, ropework, and other on land drills led by Arabella Denvir. This session will prepare women for the on-the-water clinic on Day 2 (Sunday May 20).
The Women's Sailing program is designed to increase knowledge and confidence in sailing. The on-the-water session will be organized into teams of 2-3 women and an experienced coach aboard a Cape Dory Typhoon. The Women's Sailing program is open to all women 14 years and older, including non-members. The event is free to RRYC members and $20 for non-members. NOTE: the May 20th event is sold-out, but it is still possible to sign-up for the May 6th event. To sign up, download the Registration Form and Waiver by clicking here.
