*Cruise Commander Cheryl Wicks along with Past Commander Ken Vincent will host a Cruising Seminar on Feb. 23 at the Clubhouse. Open to all members and the public, it will be the first event of the cruise season and will run from 0830 until 1700. Speakers will include experienced cruisers, both sail and power and will cover a range of topics on cruising, including finding the best restaurants! See the separate announcement.
*Based upon advice from club cruisers, Cheryl has drafted a proposed 2019 cruise schedule and has sent it to the cruising fleet members for review. In most cases the proposed events are separate from other major club events allowing some cruisers to participate in other events. For example, the Shakedown Cruise is planned to start on Sunday April 28th, just after the Blessing of the Fleet/BOD Mtg. and Social, all set for April 27th. Once the schedule has been refined, it will be published here by Jan. 31st.
The proposed Cruise Schedule is as follows:

May Cruise: May 13-24; Two choices--1) Up the Potomac, DC the destination; 2) Up he Bay, Cambridge, Annapolis, Rock Hall, etc.
