BoatUS Annual Membership Discount: Some of you may have received the annual renewal request from BoatUS recently. If you are a member but haven’t taken advantage of the RRYC’s group discount (a 50% discount which means annual membership fees are $15 instead of $30), simply call the Membership Department at 1-800-395-2628 and ask them to apply the discount via RRYC’s group account. email Webmaster for group account #.

Yachting Club of America: For snowbirds heading south by boat, car or plane, don’t forget to take advantage of reciprocity available through the Yachting Club of America. Often you receive full access to club facilities (restaurants, pools, etc.). For online access to the full list of yacht clubs, click here email Webmaster for login user ID and password.

Chesapeake Academy Regatta Video

While this video is several years old, it captures the fun and camaraderie of sailing at RRYC.

The 2010 Chesapeake Academy Regatta was an auction item at CA's May Auction. It was donated by the CA Board of Trustees. After a day of racing on the Rappahannock River, the group enjoyed a lowcountry shrimp boil back at the Rappahannock River Yacht Club. The video was created by Bo Bragg.
